What We Are Looking For - Scope of Role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Logistics Specialist to join our team. Assist the Supply Chain Manager in smoothly executing various international logistics and import tasks.

 

What Will You Do - Responsibilities for Employment

  • Coordinate and plan the arrival arrangements for various import orders with the colleagues responsible for orders.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders on the estimated time of arrival for specific orders and prepare various customs clearance documents.
  • Handle the actual import customs clearance procedures and required certificates (e.g., commodity inspection certificates) upon arrival of goods; arrange domestic delivery after clearance.
  • Coordinate the settlement of taxes, duties, and logistics fees among company finance, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Notify the warehouse of incoming shipment information.
  • Maintain basic material data and clearance information in the warehouse system; provide reports as required by the Customer Service Manager.
  • Coordinate equipment inspections required by Shanghai Commodity Inspection or Drug Administration authorities.
  • Handle other special matters arising during the import process, such as returns.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

 

Who You Are - Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor degree & above, major in Supply Chain, logistics, business administration, international trade is preferred.

Competencies

  • Familiar with supply chain operation processes, with experience in operating various incoterms, and preferred for positions in the medical device field
  • Strong compliance awareness, familiar with the classification, admission, quarantine requirements, and declaration elements of medical devices by Chinese customs, and familiar with the foreign exchange payment process.
  • Proficient use in office, better to have experience in ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.
  • Proficient use in English, strong at communication
  • High sense of responsibility, teamwork and priority
  • Quick learner, dare to address complicated issues with good problem-solving skill
