Inside Sales Specialist – Dental Solutions

Sydney or Melbourne Based | Full-Time | Office-Based Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated, commercially driven, and customer-focused Inside Sales Specialist to join the ANZ team at Dentsply Sirona.

This role is ideal for someone with dental industry experience who enjoys customer engagement, outbound sales activity, and helping dental practices embrace digital solutions and smarter workflows.

As the dedicated phone-based voice connecting Dentsply Sirona to dental practices across Australia and New Zealand, you will play a critical role in driving customer engagement, supporting eCommerce adoption, generating qualified opportunities for Field Sales teams, and delivering revenue growth across our Essential Dental Solutions portfolio.

This is a full-time office-based role with the flexibility to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. No field travel is required.


About the Role

Reporting into the commercial team, you will work closely with Product Managers, Marketing, Customer Service, Commercial Operations, and Field Sales teams across CAD/CAM, Endodontics, Implants, and SureSmile.

Your success will be measured through:

  • Closed-won revenue
  • Qualified opportunities passed to Field Sales
  • eCommerce and DS Core adoption growth
  • Consistent outbound activity and CRM discipline

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Execute structured outbound campaigns to re-engage dental customers and promote relevant solutions
  • Build strong relationships with practice owners, practice managers, and clinical teams
  • Close orders directly over the phone where appropriate
  • Identify customer needs, competitor activity, and cross-selling opportunities

Digital Adoption & Onboarding

  • Drive customer registration and engagement across DS eCommerce and DS Core platforms
  • Support customers through onboarding, first orders, and digital ordering education
  • Promote the DS Loyalty Points program and digital ordering benefits
  • Help remove barriers to digital adoption

Lead Qualification & Opportunity Creation

  • Identify and qualify opportunities for CAD/CAM, Equipment, Endodontics, Implants, and SureSmile teams
  • Pass high-quality opportunities to Field Sales with detailed qualification notes
  • Support ongoing pipeline growth and opportunity conversion

CRM & Activity Management

  • Maintain accurate same-day activity and opportunity updates within Salesforce
  • Manage daily call activity, follow-ups, and pipeline progression
  • Contribute accurate reporting and pipeline visibility for weekly business reviews

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, scripts, and customer insights
  • Partner with Customer Service, Technical Support, and Field Sales teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Contribute positively within a collaborative and high-performance team environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous dental industry experience (essential)
  • Experience as a Dental Assistant, Practice Manager, Treatment Coordinator, Dental Hygienist, customer service professional, or dental sales support highly regarded
  • Confidence with proactive outbound phone engagement
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A resilient and commercially driven mindset
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and CRM discipline
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems
  • Salesforce or CRM experience advantageous but not essential
