We are searching suitable candidates for a 1-year project.

 

As an Accountant for our internal ERP Project you will be responsible for:

 

  • Checking and updating Vendors bank accounts details
  • Verification of travel and expenses reports, clearing data and preparing for transfer between systems
  • Checking all fixed assets - additions, disposals, and depreciation, checking accounting and tax depreciation, making analyses for transferring between systems
  • In cooperation with the credit controller - investigating overdue/unsettled amounts / matching invoices issued with credit notes, checking AR balances for transferring between systems
  • Checking all AP balances and preparing to transfer between systems
  • Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
  • Keep up with financial policies, and legislation, regulations
  • To be active in all sessions and trainings involved with system implementation
  • To be responsible for test required with system implementation
  • Others activity in the connection with system implementation
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • To comply with OSH rules and internal Dentsply Sirona regulations
  • To perform other tasks assigned by a superior adequate to qualifications

 

Requirements from Candidates:

  • Graduates of accounting, economics and related fields
  • 3-5 years experience in accounting

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial transactions
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Matric certificate and post matric certificate/study will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of MS Office and databases
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliability and strong work ethics
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Basic analytical and statistical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Administrative skills
  • Confidentiality
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
  • Microsoft Movex  and SAP ERP or similar accounting software experience is beneficial.
  • Good organizational abilities; able to priorities tasks
  • Positive attitude
  • Must possess the highest degree of integrity and ethical standards
  • Fluent command of English language both written and spoken
