We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join our UX & design team. This individual will contribute to UX design of our cloud-based dentistry applications (DS Core) that empower dental practitioners and revolutionize the way dental care is delivered. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product/Solution Managers, UX professionals, developers, and clinicians, to ensure that our clinical applications meet the highest standards of usability, efficiency, and effectiveness.

 

This is a hybrid role that requires you to work out of our Waltham, MA office at least one day per week.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • UX Scoping: Collaborate with other UX team members and stakeholders to scope UX requirements
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create UX-research informed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, other UX team members including the design system team, software developers, and clinical experts to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the clinical application process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in tech and dental care to continuously enhance the user experience and push the boundaries of innovation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Several years of experience as a UX/product designer or an interaction designer
  • A strong portfolio of previous UX design projects, showcasing the designs and the process taken to arrive at the final solution
  • Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers and Architects/Technical Leads throughout the design process
  • Experience in choosing and applying various UCD methodologies such as prototyping, user journeys, user personas, etc.

Key Skills, Knowledge, & Capabilities:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for user experience best practices
  • Business English fluency is a must. Master of any other languages is a plus
  • Experience in designing complex B2B products is advantageous
  • Up to 10% travel is desired in this role
