Our Waltham, MA site is looking for someone to join our team as a Production Technician working M-F 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with occasional overtime.

SCOPE
The Production Technician (PT) will use manual and semi-automated processes to produce the Atlantis abutment and related products.
This job description applies to employees in the following work centers:
- Order Verification (OV)
- Lab Services
- Product Verification (PV)
- Shipping
- Azento
The PT will be assigned a work center where s/he will learn the basic requirements of the Quality System, all relevant policies and a core curriculum of work instructions. The assigned work-center could be any of the areas described above.
The position will adhere with all stated company polices, rules and procedures relating but not limited to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) which the role has responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacture products using detailed instructions in full compliance with all FDA regulations and ISO & Quality requirements, in conjunction with all internal policies.
- Interpret customer requirements and document/communicate findings as needed.
- Process customer material and internally produced products in compliance with established quality standards and instructions.
- Interact (extensively) with production software for all aspects of record-keeping, job assignments and material information.
- Participate in Lean process improvement activities including idea generation, root-cause analysis and solution implementation. Responsibilities could include leading Lean manufacturing project teams.
- Maintain the work-center in accordance with established 5S principles.
- Develop skills and knowledge required of position through training.
- Interact with co-workers, employees in other departments, managers, and support engineers as needed.
- Proactively seek additional tasks as conditions warrant.
- Comply by all standard SOP and Safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by manager (cross departmental activities can apply).
- Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to cross–training in other departments/areas (i.e., scanning, 3D Printing COE, PC, Metrology, Design, etc.).
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Able to perform accurate measurements, in some cases using a microscope.
- Computer literate. Able to use standard computer applications and interact with a computer for data entry and other reasons.
- Willing and able to follow company procedures and quality system regulation.
- Read, write and speak in fluent English.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have a high level of professionalism.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs (15 percent of the time).
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime required, at times.
