Summary:
The Clinical Specialist role within the Wellspect Healthcare Organization has an emphasis on the interface between Wellspect end users, healthcare professionals and accounts, and DME partners. This is a highly impactful position for the company that will afford the opportunity to make a significant impact on end users’ lives as well as direct and indirect revenue. There is significant amount of clinical education that will be required for end users, HCP (customer/account) level and company level. Importantly, this individual will have the opportunity to be associated with a company that provides high quality products and services that make a real difference in peoples’ lives.
The successful candidate will ideally have clinical experience including urology, gastroenterology, or Spina Bifida and commercial/sales experience, will possess strong clinical knowledge and judgment and excellent communication skills. Ideally located in Central, U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical and product education to healthcare professionals and customer accounts
- Educates and supports direct and indirect Wellspect users and provide supportive educational material for a smooth start and/or continuous successful Intermittent Catheterization (IC) and/or Transanal Irrigation (TAI) regimen as prescribed by their provider, reporting any clinical concerns back to their provider in a timely manner as necessary
- Collaborates with sales team to achieve clinical sales and Wellspect organizational goals
- Assists Wellspect telehealth clinical team as needed
- Provides clinical and product education to sales team and DME partners as necessary
- Provides ideas, input, and guidance on marketing materials for end users
- Participates in Wellspect educational webinars
- Attends national and local exhibitions/congresses for end users and healthcare professionals as necessary
- Ensures full compliance to T&E policy including Open Payments/State reporting
- Produces reports as necessary on performance, activity, results and in-service follow
- Demonstrates positive role model behaviors in line with company values and vision
- Collaborate with Wellspect Clinical Team to develop and implement clinical strategies
- Additional duties as assigned
Education: BS degree in Science major or Nursing
Certifications/Licensing: RN required
Years and Type of Experience:
- 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Leadership experience as Charge Nurse, Clinical Educator, Preceptor, etc. preferred
- Urology, GI and/or Spina Bifida experience preferred
- Travel for in-services, meetings and tradeshows as necessary
- Valid driver license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for up to 8 hours per day

- Professionally conducts clinical conversations with end users, accounts and Wellspect team
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Utilize various internal data bases and appropriate software to access end user and account information (Raintree, SFDC)
- Meets set goals and key performance objectives/activities
- Effectively demonstrates the core values of Wellspect and Dentsply Sirona
- Consistently meets Company standards, ethics and compliance requirements
- Ability to prioritize workload and deliver work in a timely fashion
- Self-motivated, conscientious with a desire to exceed expectations
- Displays initiative and enthusiasm for their role and company
- Enjoys presenting to groups
- Ability to travel up to 25% regionally and nationally as required
The base salary for this remote role is between $95,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
