What We Are Looking For - Scope of Role
The Senior Clinical Affairs Specialist leverages scientific insights to ensure clinical representation is present, accurate and relevant for a wide range of customer outreach programs. This position works closely with external partners (Key Opinion Leaders, Universities, schools, outreach programs) and internal partners (global business units, product and commercial teams, etc) and offers a unique opportunity to serve as a liaison and advisor for the development of new (and/or enhanced) products, services and packaging as well as our clinical education and associated marketing materials. This role is also responsible for the development and maintenance of our university/school strategy roadmap, including include outreach programs, future clinical studies and building our network of the industry’s future/up and coming Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
What Will You Do - Responsibilities for Employment
• Identify clinical education needs and support planning and execution of programs that ensure clinical needs are addressed to support our customers as well as the university/school strategy
• Develop and maintain our university/school strategy roadmap to include outreach programs, future clinical studies and build our network of the industry’s future/up and coming Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
• Foster strong relationships and partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders, Universities, schools and other outreach programs ensure a strong external network that feeds a pipeline of future customer acquisition
• Stay up to date on market trends and customer insights and needs and partner with global business units to ensure voice of customer addressed in product development roadmap and advise on prioritization recommendations and/or any additional data required to support
• Partner with Commercial and Clinical Education teams to identify potential new speakers and support education program needs that drive product and workflow knowhow by:
o Overseeing and advising on internal and external trainings (clinical education programs, lunch and learns, train the trainer, etc) to ensure curriculum is accurate, relevant, impactful, and meets customer’s needs
o Participate and support trainings, launch executions and events
• Support development of new (and/or enhanced) products, services and packaging by fostering and engaging Key Opinion Leader community when/where possible to ensure the voice of our customers are captured and taken into account within development phases and to support new product/service pipeline opportunities
• Oversee and advise on product promotion materials for clinical accuracy, relevance to ensure promotion materials meet customer needs (includes manuals, sales brochures, lunch and learn presentations, and internal sales trainings, etc.
• Report back on best practices, market trends and new technical strategies and approaches in areas of expertise to necessary internal stakeholders so that they can determine how to incorporate this into product/service development and enhancements, marketing materials, trainings, etc.
Who You Are - Qualifications
Education:
• University degree in healthcare, education, or a related field and at least 5 years’ experience in clinical education, training management
• Dental dental hygienist (RDH)
Years and Type of Experience:
• At least 5 years’ experience creating clinical education content curriculum and/or training management within dental or medical device industry
• At least 2 years’ experience as lecturer and/or author of Clinical Education articles
Additional Skillsets Required
• Strong understanding of market and customer needs with ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders cross functionally across multiple time zones
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work on various projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, Power, Point, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
• Ability to work across global teams across multiple geographies, cultures and time zones
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and comprehension), additional languages considered a plus
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

The base salary for this role is $90,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
