Job Summary:

The Clinical TeleHealth Specialist is responsible for providing Wellspect product education and clinical support to direct and indirect Wellspect users along with supportive educational material for a smooth start and/or continuous successful Intermittent Catheterization (IC) and/or Transanal Irrigation (TAI) regimen as prescribed by their provider, reporting any clinical concerns back to their provider as necessary.

 

This position has a direct emphasis on the interface between Wellspect end users, healthcare professionals, prescribing accounts, and DME partners. This is a highly impactful position for the company that will afford the opportunity to make a significant impact on end users’ lives.  There is significant amount of clinical education that will be required for end users, HCP (customer/account) level and company level. Importantly, this individual will have the opportunity to be associated with a company that provides high quality products and services that make a real difference in peoples’ lives. 

 

The successful candidate will ideally have clinical experience including gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, urology, SCI rehab, or Spina Bifida and, possess strong clinical knowledge and judgment and excellent communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical and product education to Wellspect product users, healthcare professionals, DME partners, and Wellspect U.S. team
  • Provides timely initial contact, follow up and return calls, emails, and product and therapy trainings to Wellspect users, HCPs, and Wellspect colleagues per clinical team protocols and expectations
  • Maintains current Navina prescription follow up log on SharePoint
  • Collaborates with Wellspect clinical team and cross functional departments to provide superior customer experience and achieve Wellspect organizational goals
  • Works closely with the Clinical Specialist Manager to refine, develop, and implement clinical telehealth processes and efficiencies
  • Completes product complaints in accordance with the company’s complaint handling process.
  • Follows up on new Wellspect leads that are referred from sales, marketing, or customer/accounts
  • Provides ideas, input, and guidance on marketing materials for end users
  • Ensures full compliance to T&E policy including Open Payments/State reporting
  • Attends national and local exhibitions/congresses for end users and healthcare professionals as necessary
  • Produce timely reports on Wellspect user follow up, performance, activity, and in follow up to events
  • Demonstrates positive role model behaviors in line with company values and vision
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as needed

 

Education:

  • BS degree in science major or Nursing

 

Certification/Licensing:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Compact Nursing License

 

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • GI, Colorectal surgery, SCI Rehab, Urology and/or Spina Bifida experience preferred
  • Leadership experience as Charge Nurse, Clinical Educator, Preceptor, etc. preferred
  • Travel for in-services, meetings, and tradeshows as necessary
  • Valid driver license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for up to 8 hours per day

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

  • CRM Systems/Order Processing
  • Strong telephone etiquette skills required

*The base salary for this remote role is between $80,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.*
