The Brand Manager of Lab leads the development and implementation of marketing strategies, programs, and tactics for all Dentsply Sirona Lab products within the US Commercial Organization. This individual will use market insights to orchestrate cross-functional support and execution for current products as well as new product launches, product training, and clinical education.
 

Key Responsibilities
•    Leads downstream strategic and executional planning, with a focus on driving value around workflow and procedural innovation
•    Works with key internal and external partners to uncover insights that delight customers and in turn drive the business 

•    Effectively plans, organizes, and prioritizes work across the team and organization to ensure overperformance of all financial measurements 
•    Demonstrates a passion for people development, and an has an established track record for establishing trust and driving employee engagement
•    Leads new product launch planning efforts to ensure world class execution
•    Collaborates with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities for current product portfolios 
•    Engages with finance and operations partners to ensure accurate product forecasting resulting in consistent product availability 
•    Establishes and maintains a strong line of communication with the sales function 
•    Presents information to various audiences, comprising of dealer personnel, sales managers and clinical end users 
•    Provides leadership and subject matter expertise to help shape long term strategic and pipeline planning
•    Identifies, develops and fosters KOL relationships
•    Assists with the market research, definition and documentation of the respective commercial market to support product management
•    Collects business intelligence related to the commercial organization (competition and prices, business environment, distribution networks, promotions, new product launches) to influence product portfolio and positioning needs

 

Education: Education: BS degree required; MBA preferred 

 

Years and Type of Experience:  
•    A minimum of 5 years of product management or product marketing experience desired, preferably with some concentration on dental or medical equipment.
 

Key Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Capabilities:
•    Willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time.
•    Knowledge and experience in the dental industry would be a plus. 

•    Ability to multi task.

 

Required Computer Skills:
•    Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Internet and Email applications; Project Management Software a plus.

 

Required Mathematical Skills:
•    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, algebra and geometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, especially relative to third party research.  
•    Strong business acumen.
 

Required Communication Skills:
•    Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents including complex product and service propositions.
•    Ability to develop speeches/presentations using innovative techniques. 

•    Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

•    Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and/or boards of directors.

 

Required Reasoning Ability Skills:
•    Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  
•    Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases.  

•    Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
