This position is based in Suzhou, China. 

We are looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join our team. This individual will support and maintain cloud infrastructure, help with the deployment and management of cloud services, and learn the intricacies of cloud technologies.

 

Responsibilities for Employment

Technical Implementation & Development

  • Assist in deploying and configuring cloud resources following predefined procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and help identify issues under guidance.
  • Support security and compliance initiatives by following best practices.
  • Participate in team discussions and training to improve technical knowledge.

Project Scope & Complexity

  • Focus on individual tasks and specific assignments within a project.
  • Handle straightforward and well-defined tasks with guidance from more experienced engineers.
  • Requires learning and adapting to the development process and tools.

Communication & Impact

  • Actively listen to instructions and feedback from peers and supervisors.
  • Ask relevant questions to clarify requirements and understand tasks better.

Leadership & Growth

  • Proficient in managing personal workload and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Clearly articulate questions and concerns and provide status updates to team members and supervisors.

 

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in computer science or related engineering disciplines
  • Up to 2 years of work experience as a Cloud/DevOps/System Engineer with proficient know-how in GCP (preferred, Azure or AWS beneficial); cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), basic networking, scripting (Python, Bash), troubleshooting, and infrastructure automation.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is beneficial.
