What We Are Looking For

As Senior Director, APAC Finance Leader you will provide strategic and operational financial leadership to support the achievement of business objectives and sustainable, profitable growth across the region. Reporting to the Global Commercial Finance Leader, you will support the Asia Pacific Regional Commercial Organization (APAC RCO), partnering closely with the APAC RCO leader (GVP) and leading the regional commercial finance team to deliver insights, governance, and decision support across a diverse and complex commercial organization covering Japan, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Taiwan, and emerging Asia, representing approximately 15% of the company’s dental revenue.

This role is based in Singapore, our regional hub.

 

What Will You Do

  • Act as a strategic partner to the APAC commercial leader and senior leadership team to drive performance and achieve business goals
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders to develop strategic, high-ROI plans and ensure effective allocation of resources
  • Drive business performance management through structured planning cycles, including long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and regular business reviews
  • Deliver clear financial insights, analytics, and executive-level presentations to support data-driven decision-making
  • Strengthen financial governance and ensure discipline and transparency across the commercial organization
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support agile and informed business decisions
  • Leverage financial systems, tools, and emerging technologies, including automation and AI, to enhance efficiency and insight

 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Commercial Finance, including at least 5 years in a business partnering role within an international environment
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA) is beneficial
  • Strong financial planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with experience in multi-market environments
  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail combined with strong business acumen
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; willingness to travel across the APAC region as required
