Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy and Development
- Lead the development of the company’s overall brand strategy and annual growth plan, with a focus on differentiated brand positioning and core value proposition.
- Optimize brand strategy and communication direction based on medical device market trends, competitor analysis, and clinical/customer insights.
- Establish brand KPIs (e.g., brand awareness, market share of voice, academic recognition) and monitor progress regularly.
Online and Offline Brand Communication
- Lead multi-channel brand communication, including social media, company website, digital platforms, and offline campaigns.
- Develop content calendars to ensure consistent, professional, and compliant messaging across channels.
- Monitor communication performance and optimize strategies to enhance both academic and market impact.
SEO Planning and Optimization
- Develop and lead SEO strategies, focusing on medical industry keywords, clinical terms, and technical solutions.
- Track SEO metrics (keyword rankings, organic traffic, bounce rates) and propose optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal content teams or external vendors to produce professional articles, white papers, and clinical case studies.
Brand Collateral Management
- Manage various brand materials, including product brochures, case studies, clinical research summaries, presentations, and video content.
- Ensure materials are updated, professional, compliant with medical regulations, and readily usable internally.
- Maintain a content repository to support cross-product-line use and knowledge accumulation.
Public Relations and Crisis Management
- Lead relationships with industry media, manage PR initiatives, and coordinate academic media partnerships.
- Plan press releases, media coverage, and academic collaborations to strengthen the company’s brand influence in the medical device field.
- Monitor industry sentiment, develop crisis management plans, and lead external communications during critical events to protect brand reputation.
Company Event Strategy (Strategic Focus)
- Lead strategic planning for company-wide events, including industry exhibitions, academic workshops, customer trainings, and cross-product-line academy events.
- Develop annual event strategies: define objectives, themes, business priorities, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate cross-departmental resources and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand strategy, product line promotion, and market goals.
- Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of events, providing insights to guide future strategic planning.
Academic Event Management
- Plan, organize, and execute academic events such as clinical workshops, symposia, advisory boards, and academic training programs.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, compliance, and alignment with medical strategy and product messaging in all academic activities.
- Coordinate with clinical advisors, KOLs, product teams, and marketing partners to deliver high-quality academic content.
- Monitor event impact (e.g., academic reach, participant feedback, scientific influence) and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with sales, product managers, clinical advisors, and other departments to ensure brand alignment across all product lines.
- Provide internal support for brand communication, such as training materials, external messaging, and presentation guidance.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure consistent brand application and strategic alignment across the organization.
Managing Subordinates
- Set job appraisal objectives, balancing daily product management work and personal development for the subordinates
- Manage and coach subordinates in carrying out strategical analysis of market data and product insights.
- Monitor the daily work of subordinates, provide feedback and guidance when needed
- Create a development plan and establish development dialogues with subordinates, including internal and external training.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related majors
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in marketing communications or brand management, preferably in medical devices, life sciences, healthcare equipment, or high-tech industries.
- Proven experience leading brand strategy, marketing communications projects, or academic/training event planning.
- At least 3 years of team management experience is a must
- Dental market experience is preferred
- Good leadership and teamwork spirit
- Strong data analytical skills and strategic thinking capability
- Show strong initiative in work
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to build networks and rapport within China (cross-functional and among different departments) and internationally
