Team Lead

Line of Business: Supply Chain                                                          Layer: Supply Chain and Logistics EMEA

We are looking for an experienced and talented Teamlead  to join our team. This individual will lead the day to day activities within the department and monitors on pre determined KPI's and quality standards and steers where needed. Coordinate key aspects of people management activities.
The role may cover and include inbound, pick and pack (dangerous goods included), VALVAS activities, replenishment and put away, material handling, outbound, shipping, return activities and SAP activities.

• Plan, allocate and supervise daily tasks for warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow across all operational areas
• Monitor and pre-determine KPI’s and quality standards
• Have daily kick-off meetings with your team
• Actively support absenteeism management, including preventive actions
• Substitute for the Supervisor when necessary
• Assist with the recruitment process for temp workers
• Support on Development & Performance management
• Initiates or address process improvements
• Conflict resolution: manage and resolve conflicts among team members
• Promote a positive and collaborative work culture
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Support training processes within the team
• Make sure all Quality documents are created and up-to-date and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Who You Are - Qualifications

Education:
MBO-level 4 (Secondary vocational education), preferable (learning for) HBO, Bachelor’s degree

Years and Type of Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years experience within Logistics with 2+ years of experience in people management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, speak, use hands, reach with hands and arms, see, listen and type.  May need to lift up to 25 kg.

MFG Work Environment:

Must wear PPE when performing certain tasks.  Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Limited temperature fluctuations. Site specific requirements may apply.
