Are you a seasoned HR professional ready to take on a strategic regional role in a dynamic and fast-paced international organization? Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is seeking a visionary HR Manager for Austria & CEE to lead and elevate our human resources function across multiple countries.

Your Mission

As HR Manager Austria & CEE, you will:

  • Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to middle and senior management across Austria, Poland, Czech Republic and selected CEE countries.
  • Lead, coach and provide guidance the HR team in Austria and Poland.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance, compensation & benefits, and offboarding.
  • Take full ownership of payroll administration, HR budgeting, and forecasting across Austria and ensure consistency of processes in CEE.
  • Drive employee engagement, talent retention, and employer branding strategies tailored to local needs.
  • Lead cooperation with Austrian unions and workers councils, including preparation, negotiation, and implementation of company agreements and collective labor regulations.
  • Act as a key interface for labor law compliance and ensure constructive social dialogue in Austria and aligned practices in CEE countries.
  • Oversee performance and compensation cycles, including benchmarking and local implementation of global frameworks.
  • Support and implement regional and global HR projects and system rollouts (e.g. HRIS, PACE, talent reviews).
  • Act as a change agent in organizational development, supporting transformation, and culture initiatives.

Your Profile

We’re looking for an agile and experienced HR professional who brings:

  • 10+ years of HR experience, ideally in multinational companies and matrix structures, with at least 5 years in a managerial or strategic HRBP role.
  • Deep understanding of Austrian labor law, works council relations, and collective bargaining frameworks.
  • Experience navigating CEE markets and culturally diverse teams is highly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in compensation & benefits, talent management, performance frameworks, and payroll.
  • Proven success in driving HR transformation, change management, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels and cultures.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with knowledge of SAP, HRIS, and MS Office tools.
  • Fluent German and English (C1+); other CEE languages are a plus.
  • A university degree in HR, business, or related field; payroll or HR certifications (e.g. SAP HR, Coaching, Change Management) are beneficial.
