Equipment Specialist - Northern Portugal

 

This role aims to carry out sales activities and the necessary training actions with both DS Ambassadors and distributors, as well as the commercial sales network. It also involves monitoring sales, installations, and repairs in close collaboration with the Installers Coordinator, ensuring excellence in after‑sales service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Have in‑depth technical knowledge of the product line managed / solid knowledge of the most relevant competitors’ products/solutions and their promotions.
  • Boost sales of assigned solutions among Ambassador customers in the assigned area and among distributor sales representatives.
  • Plan activities together with the Ambassadors and distributors to whom technical support is provided, to close ongoing opportunities.
  • Share cross‑selling opportunities identified within the customer portfolio with the Ambassador.
  • Travel to training locations at national and international level when required, to ensure continuous in‑depth training on solutions within the area of specialization.
  • Deliver ad hoc training to customers requested by Ambassadors and distributors.
  • Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of customer treatments through training on the use of our portfolio.
  • Keep the CRM updated through continuous and effective use.
  • Provide technical support at training or commercial events when requested.
  • Support the organization through market adaptation and transition processes.

 

Requirements

  • Sales experience; knowledge of the sector is considered an asset.
  • University degree valued, especially in technical‑healthcare or life sciences fields.
  • Intermediate level of English and/or Spanish required.
  • Profile with a high level of integrity and strong personal and professional ethics.
  • Profile with strong teaching and training capabilities.
  • Valid driving license and availability for frequent travel.
