Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing, executing, and optimising the digital marketing strategy to drive growth and revenue for the commercial business across multiple channels. As a key member of the Customer Experience team, this role is responsible for creating compelling content in both written and visual formats, expanding and maintaining the Company’s digital presence, managing paid social media campaigns, day-to-day management of the Company's social media accounts and facilitating the execution of the commercial strategy to enhance market share.

Primary Objectives
The primary objectives of this role include:

Content Development: Create engaging local digital marketing content in line with the global business unit strategy and Corporate Communications messaging to drive customer engagement, generate leads, and support commercial outcomes.

Digital Presence: Enhance the Company’s local digital footprint, optimising the customer experience.

Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop digital go-to-market strategies that achieve revenue goals and market adoption.

Sales Support: Support sales channels and lead generation activities to maximise revenue and profit opportunities.

Branding and Campaigns: Drive branding, communications, and campaigns through the Company website, email marketing, and social media to build the online community and attract new customers.

Organic and Paid Social Media Campaigns: Manage and optimise social media campaigns to increase engagement and drive sales.

Web Content Management: Work closely with the Global Web and eCommerce teams to maintain, and update web content in line with commercial business requirements.

Marketing Tactics: Recommend and implement marketing, merchandising, and creative tactics to effectively utilise digital marketing mediums.

Performance Review: Analyse and report on the performance of sites and digital marketing channels, providing campaign insights.

Analytics Utilisation: Use analytics tools to provide regular updates and data to relevant teams.

Collateral Adaptation: Adapt global sales and marketing collateral to suit local needs.

Innovation and Awareness: Identify key opportunities for innovation and brand awareness.

Specific Accountability
Commercial Digital Strategy

Create content across various mediums, including website, social media, and email, sharing customer stories and testimonials to drive sales and enhance customer relationships.

Manage content preparation, scheduling, publishing, community engagement, monitoring, and reporting.

Analyse and report on campaign performance and efficiency.
-
Execute design instructions from global colleagues to ensure the Company website is efficient, accurate, and user-friendly.

Liaise with local and global colleagues, and third-party providers to maximise the Company’s digital presence.

Implement marketing strategies to increase customer engagement through digital channels. Use digital marketing management systems to effectively deliver communication messages.
Planning

Conduct ongoing market analysis to stay responsive to changes, market trends, and competitor activities.

Build relationships with external and internal clients to capitalise on business opportunities.

Identify key decision-makers and opinion leaders, working with colleagues to develop strong business relationships.

Communicate client needs and expectations to internal stakeholders to ensure the Company meets and exceeds client expectations.

Provide communication to Sales and Marketing teams to ensure understanding of the website and other online tools.
Events & Webinars

Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to manage courses, events, videos, and other resources on the website.
Knowledge

Maintain up-to-date functional and technical knowledge through self-directed learning, training, and personal research.

Stay current with systems and procedures through proactive involvement in training.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sprinklr, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and Percolate.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing.

Proven success in running email campaigns and managing corporate social media accounts

Up-to-date knowledge of web commerce, social media trends, and the digital marketing landscape.
