Do you want to be part of a global organization, work closely with our suppliers and contribute to better dental care to make people smile?

 

We a searching for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our team at Dentsply Sirona Implants. In this role you will collaborate closely with both Global and Local Procurement teams and our suppliers. Your main objective will be to ensure the quality of supplied components and products, using the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as a key tool. You’ll work in a truly global environment, contributing to cross-functional teams and occasionally traveling to visit suppliers. Success in this role depends on strong collaboration with other functions and with SQE colleagues in Sweden and Germany. A strong focus will be towards resolving supplier-related problems quickly and efficiently to minimize disruptions for ongoing production.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Work with suppliers to ensure specifications and requirements are met. This includes:
    • Design reviews with suppliers to transfer components and product knowledge
    • Planning, executing, and evaluating PPAPs together with suppliers
  • Building and maintaining strong collaborative supplier relationships
  • Working with suppliers to resolve issues efficiently through NC and CAPA systems
  • Participating in Supplier Audits in accordance with ISO 13485
  • Supporting the Quality Control team by translating component drawings and specifications into inspection and control plans for incoming component verification

 Qualifications / Background: 

We believe you have:

  • An academic degree in engineering, science or equivalent professional background
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably as SQE
  • Worked with PPAP processes
  • Planned and participated in supplier audits
  • Background in advanced measurement and inspection methods, including hands-on experience
  • Solid understanding and interpretation skill of technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge in ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR 2017/745 and FDA Quality System Regulation or experience from other highly regulated industries
  • Excellent communication skills in English and good communication skills in Swedish, both written and verbally
