Sourcing Lead Indirect Procurement

As a Sourcing Lead you will work with the whole spectrum of procurement and be responsible for one or more purchasing categories. You will play an important role in our cross-functional product development projects where you will manage and be responsible for sourcing.

 Responsibilities:

  • To Manage multiple Indirect material categories and develop category strategies.

  • Develop current suppliers in accordance with established purchase-related goals, be in charge of price negotiations, conduct ongoing evaluation of suppliers, manage bids, and prepare and update agreements.

  • Responsible for procurement of Indirect Materials and Services.

  • Being the first point of contact and supports all business functions with commercial matters within the area.

  • To manage indirect procurement in a responsible and sustainable way in order to maximize the supply chain value.

  • Responsible to ensure and continuously improve cost, quality and service levels for indirect procurement.

  • Leading the cross-functional sourcing projects. Execute and implement strategic sourcing plans.

  • To manage external supplier relationships, optimize supplier base and set supplier strategies.

  • To work with and to contribute to the sustainability goals.

 Background/Qualifications:

  • Higher education in engineering or economics and business.

  • Thorough knowledge of procurement indirect material and several years’ experience of an equivalent role as Sourcing Lead.

  • Experience in managing sourcing in early stages of product-development projects where you are accustomed to being responsible for negotiations with suppliers.

  • Procurement experience from suppliers in Europe and Nordics.

  • Experience from working with sustainability related areas.

  • Technical knowledge and interest is required in order to be suited to the position.

  • Good written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English.
