Senior Regional IT Manager

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Senior Regional IT Manager to provide IT leadership across multiple countries and locations.

In this role, you will translate our Global Technology Services strategy into effective regional execution, ensuring reliable IT services, strong operational performance, consistent technology standards and effective risk and financial management across a geographically distributed environment.

You will lead through Regional IT Managers, Site Managers, Site Leads and IT professionals, working closely with business and technology leaders across countries and functions. This role combines people leadership, IT operations, service delivery, financial management, governance and transformation, with a strong focus on creating consistency across locations while responding to local business needs.

The position reports to the Senior Director, Global Technology Services.

What Will You Do?

Regional IT Leadership & Service Delivery

• Lead IT operations and service delivery across multiple countries, clusters and locations.
• Establish common priorities, operating rhythms, escalation paths and performance expectations across the assigned portfolio.
• Translate Global Technology Services strategy into multi-year roadmaps, annual operating plans, capacity plans and initiatives.
• Monitor service performance and drive improvements in reliability, resilience and customer experience.
• Coordinate major incidents and critical events impacting multiple locations, ensuring effective communication, recovery and follow-up.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop Regional IT Managers, IT Site Managers, Site Leads and other IT professionals.
• Set clear performance and development objectives and strengthen leadership capability across the organization.
• Build succession plans and develop talent for critical IT roles.
• Balance resources and capabilities across countries and locations based on business priorities.

Portfolio & Change Management

• Oversee a portfolio of cross-country infrastructure, workplace, security, application-enablement, lifecycle and site initiatives.
• Ensure projects and programs are delivered against agreed scope, schedule, budget, risk and business outcomes.
• Lead the adoption of global technology standards and operating-model changes across multiple locations.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, service data, customer feedback and technology trends.

Business Partnership

• Act as a senior IT partner to country and multi-site leadership.
• Translate business priorities into technology demand and communicate technology risks, service impacts and opportunities clearly.
• Manage competing priorities across countries and locations and provide fact-based recommendations for investment and resource decisions.
• Build strong relationships across business functions, Global Technology Services and other technology teams.

Financial & Vendor Management

• Manage and consolidate IT budgets and forecasts across assigned countries or sub-regions.
• Challenge demand, identify opportunities for cost optimization and support investment business cases.
• Lead cross-country vendor performance reviews and escalations.
• Contribute to sourcing decisions, statements of work, service levels, renewals and regional vendor consolidation opportunities.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure consistent implementation of corporate technology standards, information security requirements, SOPs and internal controls.
• Support compliance with relevant requirements, including SOX and FDA 21 CFR Part 11, where applicable.
• Ensure timely resolution of audit findings, security vulnerabilities, lifecycle risks and control actions.
• Strengthen business continuity, disaster recovery and backup readiness across assigned locations.
• Escalate material regulatory, cybersecurity, resilience and business-continuity risks appropriately.

Who You Are

You are an experienced IT leader who is comfortable managing technology services across multiple countries, cultures and business environments. You know how to create consistency across a distributed organization while understanding that individual sites and countries may have different operational needs.

You combine strong operational judgment with the ability to lead people, influence senior stakeholders and turn global technology strategy into practical regional execution.

You bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing geographically distributed teams, managers or site leads.
• Demonstrated experience leading IT operations across multiple countries, business units or a similarly complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, workplace services, cybersecurity and IT service management.
• Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, technology lifecycle management and enterprise project delivery.
• Experience managing IT budgets, forecasts, vendors and commercial relationships.
• Experience with audits, regulatory controls and technology risk management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple interdependent projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders without relying solely on direct reporting relationships.
• Advanced English language skills (C1); additional languages are an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, COBIT, CISSP or CISM are an advantage.
