As part of Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, Wellspect HealthCare combines the agility and purpose of a focused healthcare company with the scale, stability, and global reach of a multinational organization. In this high impact, executive-level position, you will serve as the chief legal partner to the global Wellspect HealthCare organization and a critical member of the Global Management Team and the subsidiary’s Board of Directors. Reporting directly to the Group Vice President, Wellspect HealthCare (i.e. subsidiary CEO), you will play a central role in guiding the business through its next phase of accelerated, sustainable growth. You will operate within a matrixed structure, collaborating with senior leadership in the Dentsply Sirona Corporate Legal organization and with leaders across the Wellspect HealthCare business.

The position is based in Mölndal, Sweden, Wellspect HealthCare’s global headquarters, and operates within a matrixed, international environment in close collaboration with the Dentsply Sirona Corporate Legal organisation.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior legal adviser to the Group Vice President and Global Management Team, providing clear, business‑focused legal advice on strategic, commercial, and operational matters
  • Actively contribute to executive and board‑level discussions, ensuring legal considerations are fully integrated into business strategy, investments, and organisational decisions
  • Provide proactive legal guidance that supports growth, innovation, commercial excellence, and operational performance across global markets
  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including customer, distributor, supplier, manufacturing, development, and technology contracts
  • Advise stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, R&D, quality, operations, and corporate functions with pragmatic, risk‑balanced legal solutions
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks, including regulatory and cross‑border commercial considerations
  • Partner closely with commercial leadership on go‑to‑market strategies, pricing and contracting models, distributor arrangements, and broader strategic initiatives
  • Build, lead, and scale an agile, business‑connected legal function aligned with the company’s growth trajectory
  • Act as a role model for integrity, collaboration, and accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and policies to increase efficiency and business agility
  • Manage external counsel and advisers to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective legal support

 

Your Background

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Sweden, or another EU jurisdiction with strong Swedish commercial law experience
  • 7+ years of post‑qualification experience in a leading law firm and/or in‑house legal role, with strong expertise in commercial and contract law
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences strongly preferred
  • Strong business judgement and the ability to operate independently in a growth‑oriented environment
  • Confident, outspoken communicator with executive‑level presence and influence
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and Swedish required
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed, international organisation
