EMEA & APAC Data Privacy Analyst
The EMEA & APAC Data Privacy Analyst plays a important role on the Company’s global data privacy team supporting the data privacy legal and compliance activities of Dentsply Sirona in the EMEA and APAC region. In this role you will report to our EMEA and APAC Privacy Counsel based in Germany.
The role can be based anywhere near one of our offices in Austria, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, Netherlands, UK, Belgium, France, Italy or Spain.
Your responsibilities:

Documenting and maintaining records of data privacy-related matters (data subject request, RoPAs, data incident management, data mapping, etc) for accountability purposes and legally required filling with data protection authority

Conducting data privacy impact assessments and audits to evaluate compliance with privacy laws and regulations for the EMEA/APAC region

Reviewing and responding to inquires from employees, customers, vendor partners, and others regarding Dentsply Sirona’s privacy practices

Assisting with periodic assessments and reviews and updates of privacy compliance programming, including tracking progress against defined procedures and policies

Assisting with the creation of privacy training materials and presentations to business clients

Completing additional privacy-related duties as assigned
Your profile and qualification:

Bachelor’s degree combined with first, solid experience in working in the data privacy field

Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM,etc) preferred

Experience working with the OneTrust Privacy Management platform or another major data privacy management platform strongly preferred

Fluency in English is a must, another European major language (e.g German) is highly preferred

Ability to make judgment within defined local procedures to determine appropriate action (e.g. escalate to next level)

Strong change and project management skills, including time management and effective prioritization to manage competing deadlines

Ability to work positively with various stakeholders, outside counsel, and cross-functional teams to ensure execution and drive issue resolution in a timely manner

Organized and detail oriented, with a high degree of ethics, integrity and professionalism

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, the willingness to learn new topics and processes and to work under pressure, with time constraints, and minimal oversight

A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a high degree of patience are critical for this role

Occasionally travel might be required (estimated to be 10%)
