Demand Planning Analyst

We are a world leading international dental company that has been improving oral health for more than a century. To our team in Molndal/Gothenburg we are now looking for a Demand Planning Analyst to join us. This is a role where you will expand your international experience and work alongside a dedicated team.

As our Demand Planning Analyst you will lead, create and maintain our demand planning models for assigned products and regions. You will incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from our different functions and deliver market information that allows us to meet our customers’ demand. This role plays a key part in integrating our sales and commercial teams into the S&OP process.

 

What are we expecting from you?

To succeed in this role, you will need to build a strong network with our Replenishment and Supply Chain team as well as with our different internal functions. You will be the main contact for our sales and commercial teams and a key contributor to the S&OP process. The key deliverable for the demand planning analyst is a product level demand plan. This will enable us to incorporate current and accurate market information that allows us to predict customer demand and provide our supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet that customer demand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all finished goods demand planning activities in the S&OP planning tool for assigned products and regions.
  • Achieve consensus for global demand plan by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and finance personnel
  • Create, facilitate and lead monthly demand planning review meetings with required markets
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase in/out.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned              

 

Who you are?

You will need to be comfortable working under ambiguity and adapting quickly to changing inputs or data constraints. Excellent communication skills will be needed as well as a strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts effectively. A strong sense for numerical and statistical problem-solving alongside the ability to analyze big datasets and extract meaningful insights.

 

Qualifications/Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • 2+ years of demand planning experience.
