We are looking for a Senior Commercial Product Manager to join our team at Wellspect Healthcare. In this role, you will report to the Manager of International Marketing. The Senior Commercial Product Manager is accountable for driving both the strategic direction and operational execution of the marketing and commercial agenda within the country.
This role shapes market strategies, defines product positioning, and aligns local plans with global objectives, while ensuring adaptation to local market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive realities. In addition, the role leads the hands-on implementation of marketing initiatives, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful commercial results. Success in this role requires a strong business mindset, deep market and customer understanding, and the ability to translate strategic plans into effective execution that accelerates growth and strengthens market presence.
This role will be based in Barcelona or Madrid, with the option of hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the annual commercial and marketing strategy for the country, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, patient demographics, and therapy advancements to identify growth opportunities and shape product positioning.
• Define a compelling value proposition and ensure consistent messaging across all channels and customer segments.
• Contribute to global launch strategies and influence upstream marketing through local market insights and customer needs.
• Establish strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific societies, and other key stakeholders to build market advocacy and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
• Provide strategic recommendations to management and country leadership based on commercial performance, market intelligence, and customer feedback.
Operational Responsibilities
• Translate strategic plans into actionable commercial plans and campaigns, leading execution to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Collaborate closely with Sales teams, earning their trust and supporting them with tools, training, and insights to deliver value to customers.
• Maintain a strong field presence to gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights and manage clinician and patient feedback loops for current and future products.
• Lead the development and execution of country launch plans, ensuring operational readiness and cross-functional alignment.
• Train internal teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and adapt marketing content to meet local regulations.
• Execute annual commercial plans and marketing campaigns, continuously monitoring performance and adjusting tactics as needed.
• Support tender management, product demand planning, and complaints coordination to ensure operational excellence.
• Plan and lead local KOL management and educational programs, local congresses, and industry events, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Market Access to integrate scientific initiatives with commercial strategies and support market entry or expansion.
• Manage the marketing budget and ensure efficient resource allocation in line with spending objectives.
• Provide regular reports and insights to Management and leadership, proactively recommending improvements to enhance results.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
Years and Type of Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in global marketing and product management, with a focus on commercialization excellence, in the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:
• Deep knowledge of the medical device and homecare markets, with the ability to leverage market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive analysis to shape actionable commercial strategies.
• Proven expertise in developing and executing successful new product launch plans.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills, capable of turning data into actionable marketing and product strategies and translating them into effective tactical plans that deliver measurable results.
• Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, driving commercial excellence through teamwork.
• Experienced in strategic planning and execution, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English, with a B2 level or higher.
