About the position

As Production Controller you will be our business partner working closely with the Supply Chain- and Production management teams. The aim of the role is to maximize financial performance, inventory valuation, analyze variances and drive improvements of processes & systems. You will be responsible for the monthly closing, forecasting and reporting. You will also be our control owner of internal controls (SOX) related to Inventory and Production.

 

Your key accountabilities are:

  • Act as business partner to Supply Chain and Production management. Provide support, advice and decision-making
  • Financial performance incl responsibility and preparation of monthly close and inventory valuation
  • Lead forecast- and budget process incl reporting
  • Ensuring properly recording and reporting of inventory and COGS related transactions.
  • Analyzing production variances per product
  • Drive improvement activities of processes, methods and systems
  • Project controlling incl businesscases and COGS calculation for new product development
  • Responsibility for the yearly Standard price calculation process
  • Internal control (SOX)

We believe you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience within Controlling in a manufacturing environment or as Production Controller
  • In-depth understanding of Standard Costing methodology, volume- & manufacturing cost variance analysis
  • Experience in driving improvements of processes and ERP-system
  • Firm knowledge of policies and practices involved in financial management, accounting principles and capital project evaluation
  • Knowledge of principles and practices involved in internal controls (SOX)
  • Experience in Power BI and reporting systems, preferable Hyperion
  • Experience in Project Controlling is a merit
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Turkish as the role requires close contact with several functions and Dentsply Sirona HQ in US
