Key responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of operational and commercial agreements, including distribution, sales, marketing, services and supply agreements in English and Vietnamese.
  • Establishing and optimizing legal processes, workflows, standards and templates.
  • Offering advice and counsel on a variety of legal issues and business topics to internal stakeholders for assigned markets, particularly in Vietnam.
  • Advising on legal risks and proposing solutions to mitigate such risks.
  • Participating in M&A projects, divestitures, and other matters with organization-wide impact.
  • Building close cross-functional relationships and maintaining a strong knowledge of the products, services and objectives of Dentsply Sirona.
  • Managing relationships with external counsel and other professionals representing Dentsply Sirona for projects.
  • Coordinating pre-litigation, litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters.

 

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Vietnamese lawyer.
  • 8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in a global organization and/or law firm. Experience supporting organization or clients in other countries also preferred.
  • Strong background in contract, corporate and competition law and supporting sales initiatives, with a preference for experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify and prioritize issues and provide solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent business acumen and good common sense.
  • Proactive, pragmatic and efficient with a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
