SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Key Account Manager will be focusing on Orthodontics product sale and marketing business and   managing the local key account and other business. Including government and university. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Marketing Strategy

  • Formulate and implement and execution of effective long and short-term marketing plan ensuring the product is continuous and sustained competitive advantage in the region.
  • Develop clear, well-communicated vision and strategies for Orthodontics products that can be translated to effective marketing and sales plan.
  • To evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional development through regular field visits and customers engagements.
  • Promotes company product through positive, ongoing relationships and activities with KOLs, Nurses, etc.  

Internal Stakeholder Co-operation.

  • Ensure continuous collaboration with all functions and divisions namely sales and marketing team; to ensure effective conceptualization and implementation of go-to marketing strategy.
  • Partner with sales team by joint customer visit in weekly basis to close sales.

 

Reporting & Analysis

  • Works closely with marketing and logistics team to ensure sales forecast accuracy by providing relevant market information and impact of promotional programs which affects monthly sales trends.
  • Assist marketing in the conducting market research to determine current and potential market requirements for existing and future products. Helps gather and analyse short and long term impact of competitive activities and anticipates threat of future competitive product launches
  • Develops and implements pricing strategies based on evaluation of economic conditions, competition, costing and other factors which affects the marketability of products.

Product and Procedure Knowledge

  • Proactive involvement in training and development, and market research, ensure ongoing product and system knowledge, sales skills, and internal processes. 
  • Ensure understanding and adhere to all compliance requirements.  Building and protecting Dentsply Sirona’s brand as a company with ‘unquestionable integrity’.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Education

  • Bachelor degree is required

 

Experience

  • At least 8 years working experience in Dental or Medical consumable or Pharmaceutical or Healthcare sectors in managing key accounts.
  • Knowledge in Orthodontics business is preferred.
  • Multi-years success in achieving sales targets as Sales person.
  • Experienced in handling product portfolio life cycle.
  • Able and build a sustainable and reliable relationship with professional and the customers.  

 

Specific Knowledge /skills

  • Knowledge in medical/dental consumable products.
  • Knowledge and / or experience in Dental Hospital.
  • Knowledge and / or with consultative selling.
