Scope 

The SAP Sales and Distribution Functional Analyst is a global role responsible for the day-to-day support of SAP S4 Hana Sales and Distribution and related module. In this role, you will analyze and troubleshoot user incidents occurring within the production system.  Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining SAP Sales and Distribution and related Modules.  Working with Global Process Owners, Business Process Leads, ABAP team and others within the ERP community. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

ERP Sales and Distribution Functional Expert

 

  • Provides excellent functional support, training, and troubleshooting to end-users for SAP SD and related modules globally
  • Liaises between end-user community and development team to solve user problems
  • Maintains clear understanding of related business processes
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and users to gather business requirements, analyze current processes, and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Creates detailed functional specifications for developments
  • Works closely with extended ERP team to test and deploy solutions
  • Maintains comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all configurations and processes
  • Develops test scripts, performs rigorous unit testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure solution integrity and quality
  • Collaborates and shares knowledge within extended ERP team
  • Adheres to Corporate Global IT compliance practices

 

Functional Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution business processes
  • Proficiency in SAP SD module configuration
  • Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules (FI, MM, etc.)
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP implementations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience liaising with ABAP/Technical team, translating user requirements into actionable development tasks
  • Collaboration with Support team members on technical issues.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.) is strongly desired.

Key required skills, knowledge, and capabilities:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
  • SAP SD or other certification desired

 

Language skills

  • English - Advanced (C1), any other language is an advantage.

 

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role.
  • Experience with SAP SD or related modules
  • Experience with Service and/or Repairs module is a plus
