Quality Management & Compliance

  • Ensure effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the local Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, ISO 13485, and company standards.
  • Ensure consistent execution of core QMS processes, including CAPA, change control, nonconformance management, complaint handling, and field actions.
  • Maintain inspection readiness at all times and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate quality and compliance risks.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics (e.g., deviations, complaints, audit outcomes), driving continuous improvement and risk reduction.
  • Support alignment with global QMS standards while ensuring full compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Product Quality & Supplier Oversight

  • Ensure effective quality oversight of marketed products across both medical devices and pharmaceutical products, applying appropriate quality and regulatory requirements in line with their respective risk profiles.
  • Manage quality-related interactions with domestic and overseas manufacturing partners.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of product quality issues, ensuring robust root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor post-market quality trends and ensure timely escalation and management of critical risks impacting product quality or patient safety.
  • Support GBU QA in the oversight of manufacturing activities for products supplied to the Japan market, acting as the local quality interface to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and alignment with local regulatory requirements.
