The Senior Event Planner is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact corporate, clinical, and commercial events for Dentsply Sirona. This role drives exceptional attendee experiences that reflect the company’s brand and business priorities. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detaildriven events leader with deep experience managing complex, multiday programs, crossfunctional partnerships, and external vendor relationships in a fastpaced global organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning

  • Manage the endtoend planning and delivery of major corporate and clinical events, including customer programs, national sales meetings, incentive meetings and large user conferences.
  • Translate business objectives into event concepts, agendas, and experience designs that engage targeted audiences and elevate the Dentsply Sirona brand.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments for all assigned programs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal partners, guiding them through event strategy, options, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support consistency across regions while tailoring experiences to local needs.

 

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor selection (A/V, production, décor, catering, transportation, security, registration, housing, etc.) for annual national sales meeting, incentive meeting and DS World customer conference.
  • Develop comprehensive event documentation, including runofshow, production schedules, staffing plans, and briefing materials.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Communications, Clinical Education, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment on content, messaging, and attendee experience.
  • Manage onsite operations, providing leadership to staff, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.

 

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Own event budgets from forecasting through final reconciliation; ensure responsible cost management and ROI reporting.
  • Negotiate and oversee vendor contracts and performance, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and compliance with company policies.
  • Evaluate costsaving opportunities and implement process efficiencies across the events portfolio.

 

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure event activities comply with all applicable regulatory, legal, and industry standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, templates, and standard operating procedures related to event planning.
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting for internal systems, including attendee management, budgets, and post-event analysis.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably within a global, matrixed organization or regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or technology).
  • Demonstrated experience managing largescale, multiday events with complex logistics and VIP stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable interfacing with senior executives and crossfunctional teams.
  • Proven budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% depending on event calendar.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CSEP certification.
  • Experience supporting clinical education events or healthcare professional programs.
  • Familiarity with Cvent.
