Assists with the financial record keeping, reporting and analysis of cost accounting information as required by the Director of Supply Chain Accounting. Performs a variety of analytical and accounting functions including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, master data maintenance, account analysis and financial reporting to demonstrate current performance and assist with the financial effect of proposed operating decisions across Supply Chain.
Assist the Director of Supply Chain Accounting with the following responsibilities:
- Month End or Periodic calculations and Processes. Including but not limited to:
- Revaluation process including churn rate calculation and analysis
- Monthly ERP inventory close
- LCNRV analysis and calculation
- Material Cost Updates for FG at designated Distribution Centers
- PPV and Inventory Adjustment Classification and Analysis
- Fixed Asset Impairments- Mfg. Equipment
- Transfer Price Templates
- Internal Cost Center Reporting
- Assist with site full physical Inventory counts
- Assist with maintaining GRNI accounts
- Prepare various monthly financial and cost schedules for management review
- Assist Production Controllers in the coordination of the annual physical inventory (including tag control, resolving discrepancies, arranging test counts, producing and reconciling results, and accommodating internal/external auditor requests)
- Conduct, assist and review the results of periodic cycle counts of inventory
- Assist in the preparation for periodic and yearly Corporate and external audits
- Assist in the proper maintenance, safe guarding, and accounting of the company’s assets including PP&E and the inventory in the plant.
- Collaborate with GBU’s and review the assignment of Global Product Hierarchy and Global Item Number coding to ensure accurate reporting on a global level.
- Collaborate across functions to maintain proper costing master data fields in the ERP.
- Develop and enhance reports from ERP system
- Assist in various account reconciliation including Inventory and Assist GBS with GRNI
- Understand and participate in completion of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements and assist internal and external auditors by providing detailed explanatory information and documents as required
- Provide appropriate management with accurate and reliable data to allow for cost control and inventory management decision making.
- Remains current on policies and procedures including Corporate Finance Accounting Manual (CFAM), Sarbanes and Oxley (SOX), US GAAP, and DS best practices and ensures site compliance
- Perform AdHoc requested by his/her supervisor related to Inventory and Inventory Controls
Education:

- 5+ years in general / cost accounting, and or related experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and / or groups.
- Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Hyperion suite tools-Essbase, DSIPLAN, HFM, Excel SmartView, Power BI cubes
- Technical knowledge specific to standard product costing, and manufacturing variances within ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, ,Infor-Movex, BPCS, SAP, or Oracle
