Scope
The replenishment analyst’s main task is to replenish the local DS warehouses with appropriate finished goods inventory and setting system parameters to achieve this.  Also, balancing inventory both at the main hub and at the local warehouses, with the target of maintaining an overall high service level to our end customers globally. The replenishment analyst is an important part of the S&OP Planning team and will work closely with the demand and supply planning analysts as well as the entire S&OP planning team. 

 

*The ideal location for this role would be near Charlotte, NC, but we are open to remote candidates as well.


Key Responsibilities

  • Parameter setting to achieve perfect balance in inventory (high product availability to low inventory carrying cost).
  • Release replenishment orders in local warehouses in all ERP systems according to the defined schedule.
  • Decide how much to allocate on replenishment orders (control global distribution when central warehouse is low in stock of certain SKUs).
  • Review inventory and replenishment, without jeopardizing service levels at the main hub.
  • Ensure to release orders for picking from the main hub.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies with shipments to local warehouses from the main hub.  
  • Host replenishment review meetings with local countries. 
  • Align with supply planning teams at production sites about global inventory increases or decreases.
  • For warehouses not centrally controlled, coordinate replenishment with the local team.
  • Handle questions from local countries regarding delivery dates, open orders, market block, phase in/ phase out etc. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

Typical Background
 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of relevant experience.

Certifications/Licensing:

  • APICS certification is preferred.

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 2+ years of supply chain planning experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

  • Knowledgeable of supply chain planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills to manage expectations and resolve conflicts with stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams on an international basis.
  • Proficiency with Excel is required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
