The Associate Product Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans and supports marketing activities that align to strategies for a specific product line for the NAM commercial organization in order to grow and expand the customer base.
• Collaborates w/ broader Marketing and Commercial Development teams to develop and execute downstream marketing campaigns based of business strategy
• Develops, implements and executes marketing plans and activities to introduce new and existing products for the respective product category
• Plans, organizes and coordinates assigned programs and/or events to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources. Works with Sales Ops to gather data/reporting on performance
• Collaborates with Global Business Units on marketing initiatives, product development, Voice of Customer, and additional needs to help shape current portfolio activity and future portfolio offerings
• Assists Brand team with pricing/margin analysis and forecasting when needed
• Assists Brand team with strategic plan development
• Supports marketing and sales training programs throughout the sales organization and dealer specialists
• Helps define promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, salesforce and alternate distribution channels
• Assists with identifying, developing and fostering KOL relationships
• Assists Brand team with the market research, collects business intelligence related to the US CCO (competition and prices, business environment, distribution networks, promotions, new product launches) to influence product portfolio and positioning needs
• Contributes to content creation for various marketing channels
• Partner closely with Brand team, Digital Marketing, and Sales teams to execute, measure and adapt marketing strategies, plans and campaigns
• Analyze marketing programs, communicate status and adjust tactics to increase effectiveness. Works closely with sales ops to identify what to measure and builds reporting to assess effectiveness.
• Manage and ensure compliance within the respective marketing budget
• Develop and execute advertising campaigns, tracking & maintaining yearly advertising calendar for print and digital mediums
• Help establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events
• Additional duties as assigned
Years and Type of Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years of classical marketing or product marketing experience.
• Experience in the dental/pharmaceutical/medical device industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in the positioning of a new brand and new products within an established market.
• Experience and comfort working in a fast paced environment and delivering results with efficient use of resources.
• Experience working with external suppliers, e.g., advertising, research and agencies.
• Agency experience a plus
Key Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Capabilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
o Knowledge of principles and methods involved in marketing, promoting and selling products or services.
o Creative skills for printed materials, advertising and presentations.
o Knowledge of multi-media production, communication and promotion techniques and methods.

Required Computer Skills:

• Graphic design and/or ability to utilize Adobe Creative Suite and project management software a plus.
Required Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, algebra, and geometry.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, especially in the area of 3rd party research.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Strong business acumen.
Required Communication Skills:
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents including complex product and service propositions.
• Ability to develop speeches/presentations using innovative techniques; ability to supervise AV meeting production.
