This is a newly created position in our Regional Business Unit (RBU) department in Asia Pacific.  The core objective of the role is to help us to tackle increasingly complex challenges in the region, accelerate profitable growth, and develop commercial center of excellence for APAC.  Reporting to VP, RBU, this position plays a critical role in achieving business results by working on a broad range of RBU’s projects.  Assignment areas include market research, strategic initiative, market development, strategy, and business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deal with strategic business issues with significant exposure to business leaders and cross-functional areas
  • Develop in-depth understanding of critical issues
  • Support regional strategic projects and assist with market research, business case development, and financial projections
  • Support regional clinical education and internal training initiatives and assist with survey, best practice research, and actionable recommendation development 
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis and contribute to the development of best practice
  • Work closely with country commercial teams, external parties to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape
  • Manage project and drive collaborating across a matrixed organization

 

Required qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of three years of relevant post-undergraduate professional work experience
  • A drive for achievement, self-starting attitude, adaptability, and a proactive approach to taking action
  • Track record in consistently improving knowledge and skill sets through continuous learning
  • Passion for improving healthcare

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Experience in marketing, product management, market research, sales, and/or business development
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device industries
  • Experience in consulting or investment banking
  • Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity in both strategic and tactical matters
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
