Scrum Master

 

The Scrum Master supports one or more agile delivery teams by fostering effective collaboration, enabling team performance, and driving continuous improvement. This role helps teams deliver high-quality outcomes by promoting Agile principles, facilitating efficient ways of working, and removing obstacles that may impact delivery.

Working closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders, the Scrum Master promotes transparency, alignment, and accountability while helping teams continuously improve their effectiveness and delivery capabilities.

 

 

What Will You Do – Responsibilities for Employment

 

  • Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support teams in applying Agile principles and practices to improve collaboration, productivity, and delivery outcomes.
  • Identify and help resolve impediments that impact team performance and delivery.
  • Partner with Product Owners to support backlog management, prioritization, and readiness of work items.
  • Monitor team progress using Agile metrics and facilitate data-driven discussions around performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team effectiveness and ways of working.
  • Promote transparency and alignment by providing clear visibility into team progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Foster strong collaboration across teams and functions, supporting effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support coordination across teams when dependencies or shared deliverables require alignment.
  • Encourage adoption of best practices that improve quality, efficiency, and delivery predictability.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

 

Who You Are – Qualifications

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Scrum certification or Agile-related certification is considered an advantage.

 

Years and Type of Experience

 

  • 3–5+ years of experience working in Agile environments as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting high-performing delivery teams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex or global organizations.
  • Experience supporting technology, data, digital, or business transformation initiatives is an advantage.

 

Language Skills

 

  • English – Advanced (C1)

 

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities

 

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration and driving continuous improvement within teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve obstacles, and support effective decision-making.
  • Understanding of software development, data, or digital product delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and international environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and foster team engagement.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for helping teams succeed.
