Internal Auditor
Purpose of the role:
1. Responsibility for managing and performing individual audit programs and projects for the Company’s EMEA / APAC activities.
2. Provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services that focus on improving organizational effectiveness, governance, risk, and control process and practices, including internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).
3. Quickly building a broad knowledge of the Company’s business operations and strategies, as well as external issues impacting corporate and the business units.
4. Support and train more junior colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in high-impact finance and operational audits, to drive strategic transformation of the business
• Assess business risk and enhance our standard control framework thorough evaluation of our global SOX Program
• Utilize data analytics to spot trends and identify risk-based samples
• Partner with our external auditors to drive increased reliance on our internal assessments
• Collaborate across functions and with external resources to foster continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Present summarized observations in a business-minded audit
Requirements
• 2+ years of professional experience in related function
• Big 4 audit experience or large multi-national audit/risk/compliance experience
• Some experience planning and executing audits
• SAP and/or MS Dynamics experience
• Experience in data analytics
• Strong relationship building skills
• High level of personal accountability
• Internationally oriented, culturally sensitive
• Strong sense of team and fair play
• Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills
• Demonstrates inquisitive mindset and applies critical thinking in each assignment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge and experience in project management
• Demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems with limited guidance or supervision
• Strong work ethic and unquestionable integrity and capability of presenting in a clear and compelling manner to senior leadership
• Good understanding of technology, fully embrace the IT advances that define a high performing audit team
• Ability to travel
