Digital & Ai Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Digital & AI Program Manager to lead the organization’s digitalization and AI transformation initiatives within the Information & Digital Technology (IDT) function.

In this high-impact and highly visible role, you will drive the design, execution, and governance of enterprise-wide digital and AI programs — translating strategic priorities into scalable and measurable business outcomes. You will play a key role in connecting technology initiatives with operational priorities, business strategy, and organizational change management.

As a strategic partner to senior leadership, you will establish governance frameworks, program structures, and cross-functional alignment to support a rapidly evolving digital transformation agenda already strongly backed by executive leadership.

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Information & Digital Technology (IDT) and operates at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and transformation.

What Will You Do — Responsibilities for Employment

Roadmap & Governance

  • Own and continuously evolve the Digital & AI transformation roadmap — ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise strategy
  • Govern the AI investment pipeline — including intake, prioritization, business case development, and leadership reporting
  • Establish and maintain AI governance frameworks — including approved tools registries, acceptable use policies, and compliance alignment with GDPR and ISO 13485
  • Define and track program success metrics — including adoption, efficiency gains, process improvements, and business impact

Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Coordinate and support a network of Functional AI Champions across Commercial, R&D, Operations, Medical Affairs, and Finance
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify, qualify, and prioritize AI and digitalization opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops focused on process automation and AI integration opportunities across the organization
  • Serve as an internal advisor on emerging digital and AI technologies — translating market trends into practical business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across functions and leadership levels

Program Execution

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of digital and AI initiatives — including planning, execution, dependency management, risk tracking, and stakeholder coordination
  • Manage relationships with strategic vendors, implementation partners, and external digital service providers
  • Oversee vendor delivery quality — challenge proposed solutions, negotiate scope, and ensure execution quality
  • Partner with HR to support AI literacy, adoption, and upskilling initiatives across the organization
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and improvement opportunities — while driving practical solutions
  • Follow company policies, processes, and administrative requirements
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Who You Are — Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience

Years and Type of Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in program or project management — including experience within digital transformation, AI adoption, or technology strategy initiatives
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex cross-functional programs in matrixed organizations
  • Experience working within regulated environments — with understanding of GDPR and data governance principles
  • Comfortable collaborating across European and US time zones with international stakeholders

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities

  • Strong technical understanding — with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, architects, and business stakeholders
  • Strong governance and organizational mindset — capable of establishing scalable frameworks and processes without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Highly proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach
  • Experience working with enterprise AI, automation, digital transformation, or productivity platforms

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience within healthcare, medtech, or other regulated industries
  • Experience establishing or scaling PMO or transformation governance structures
