Commercial Business Analyst Manager
This role engages in close collaboration with the Global commercial and Dental Product Group teams, serving as their trusted business partner and indispensable collaborator. With the support of a dedicated scrum team of business analysts, the Commercial BA Manager will assume responsibility as the product owner of the commercial data warehouse and data provided to related IT applications across Dentsply Sirona. This role will collaborate, market, and sell our Global data solutions and effectively communicate the value of the team's efforts. The purpose of the Global Data & Analytics is to have one data repository and being the single truth for the complete Dentsply Sirona Group utilized by all functions. The data and analytics organization are highly integrated in the commercial process and a base for the commercial eco system with E-com, loyalty program, CRM systems, pricing management. Our BI strategy centers on maximizing the potential of Microsoft Azure Databricks and Power BI to establish a self-service BI environment. This approach aligns perfectly with our vision to foster a data-driven enterprise, enhanced by advanced analytics methodologies like Machine Learning and AI. The Commercial BA Manager is instrumental in driving forward this transformative journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate the significance of data and analytics to the commercial organization, identifying opportunities to enhance commercial processes through data-driven insights and solutions.
- Act as the important link between the commercial organization, IT and finance to support the business with data analysis, advanced reporting, data modeling and visualizations that will drive business decision making.
- Leading projects, coordinating with the BI developers and back-office team, reviewing, and ensuring compliance of business requirements, testing- and roll out in the commercial process.
- User support, education, training and facilitate workshops for the user community.
- Collect the business specifics needs and user requirement in the digital development.
- Support to create standardized and effective reports and dashboards and mastering powerful visualizations to enable business insights to senior executives.
- Analyzing SQL data in data bricks / Power BI and contribute with business logic to steer the technical team in the final backend solution.
- Leading, creating, delivering, and continuously improving our advanced analytics solutions.
- Managing 3 direct reports
Key requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in customer Analytics, Sales Ops, commercial systems (for example CRM), processes and/or understanding of commercial reporting and KPIs
- Experience in customer Analytics, Sales Ops
- Exceptional collaboration, presentation, and communication skills in English with a structured and process-driven approach, along with a passion for interpersonal connections and education.
- Highly service minded with the ability to work in a changing environment and enjoy a high pace.
- Knowledge in navigate through vast datasets.
- Critical and Analytic Thinking: you like to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on your findings.
- Knowledge in Microsoft products or eager to learn, such as Power BI, tabular or multi-dimensional model (using facts and dimensions), SQL and Azure Databricks platform is a plus.
