Work Arrangement
This position is a hybrid role. Employees are required to work on-site 2–3 days per week at our Braselton, GA office, with the remaining days eligible for remote work. Specific in-office days may be determined based on team needs and business priorities.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst professional who will be responsible for enabling the commercial organization to make faster, smarter decisions by delivering trusted insights, scalable BI solutions, and streamlined commercial processes across Salesforce and ERP. The role blends analytics and visualization (Power BI), reporting automation, and commercial operations support (pricing, master data, and order-to-cash), with selective experimentation in AI-assisted analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analytics & Insights
- Builds, iterates, and governs commercial dashboards in Power BI (sales, pipeline, KPIs) and provide clear commentary and recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership.
- Combines internal performance data with third-party/market datasets to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Automation & Scalable BI (must-have)
- Translates business questions into robust data models (star schemas), DAX measures, and user-friendly dashboards; tune refresh/query performance.
- Replaces manual, recurring reporting with automated workflows/pipelines (Power Query/ETL, scheduled refresh, parameterized logic); measure cycle-time reduction and quality gains.
- Explores AI-assisted reporting and analysis where safe and value-accretive (nice-to-have).
Commercial Systems & Operations
- Serves as a knowledgeable partner on Salesforce reporting, pipeline hygiene, and user enablement (training, troubleshooting, adoption).
- Supports ERP-linked activities (order-to-cash reporting, reconciliations, pricing updates, master data quality). Infor M3 experience is a plus (not required).
- Partners with Customer Service and Finance to resolve data/process issues that impact commercial execution.
Forecasting & Incentive Compensation (support)
- Supports forecast models/scenarios with Sales/Finance and document key drivers/assumptions.
- Supports setup and automation of incentive compensation logic (objectives/performance calculations), ensuring transparency, auditability, and policy alignment.
Data Governance & Quality
- Defines and stewards common commercial metrics/definitions; monitor and improve data quality across Salesforce/ERP and other sources.
Stakeholder Enablement
- Runs demos, office hours, and concise documentation to drive adoption; tailor communication for non-technical audiences.
- Complies with company and departmental policies and administrative requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned or as needed
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
Years and Type of Experience:
- 5+ years in BI/analytics or commercial operations analytics (mid–senior individual contributor).
- Strong Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visuals), SQL, Power Query, and advanced Excel.
- Hands-on Salesforce reporting/enablement experience; proven ability to drive user adoption and hygiene.
- Demonstrated track record automating manual reporting into scalable pipelines and scheduled refreshes.
- Clear communicator; able to translate ambiguous commercial questions into metrics, insights, and recommendations.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
Nice-to-Have:
- Infor M3 ERP exposure; understanding of order-to-cash, pricing, and customer master data.
- DME industry experience and/or Brightree familiarity.
- Python/R for analytics/automation; Azure data stack; experience with AI-assisted analytics.
