With advanced 3D technologies, the company enables dental professionals to plan, simulate, and deliver highly precise treatments, improving efficiency and patient outcomes.To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions by developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the delivery of high-quality, innovative digital orthodontic products.

 

Your Role:

 

  • Perform integration, functional, system and regression testing.
  • Definition and execution of manual test scenarios and test cases.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient code to extend our test automation framework.
  • Collaborate closely across the various departments: R&D, Supply Chain, Training, Customer Care, QA/RA.to deliver effective solutions.
  • Define and maintain comprehensive automated testing scripts to ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot incoming operational issues and identify, document, track defects until resolved and deployed.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate solutions and fixes to other departments/customers.

 

 

 

 

 

Your Qualifications:

 

Years and Type of Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical education or professional experience in computer science or relevant industry experience
  • 3-5 years SW quality assurance/testing experience.
  • Experience in the orthodontic domain is advantageous.
  • Experience working in the highly regulated medical device industry is advantageous.

 

Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:

 

  • Experience in writing software tests, good understanding of software testing concepts (for example: TDD, BDD, testing pyramid)
  • Knowledge of Software development fundamentals
  • Experience with at least one OOP language (e.g. Python, Java)
  • Experience in SQL/database and scripting.
  • Experience with UI Automation frameworks, e.g. Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of test management tools and processes (e.g. Matrix Req. Xray) and issues tracking tools (e.g. Jira).
  • Experience w/ Shift-Left, participation in refinements.
  • Experience w/ CI and version control tools (e.g. Git, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
  • Great attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong commitment to deliver high-quality results
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. German advantageous.
