The Market Development Manager ddMRI (f/m/d) is responsible for (I) selling ddMRI (dental-dedicated Magnetic Resonance Imaging) to universities, hospitals, and large institutions, (II) seeding and developing the market for ddMRI by creating awareness for MRI in dentistry, and (III) shaping Dentsply Sirona’s reputation as innovation leader, leveraging ddMRI as a door opener for the broader DS portfolio.
Your Responsibility:
Sales ownership
- Build and manage a strong ddMRI sales pipeline globally
- Own the sales cycle for lead generation, qualification, pricing, negotiation and conversion, supported by local Dentsply Sirona and Siemens Healthineers account leaders and the Dentsply Sirona KOL network for ddMRI.
- Support the sales cycle for installation and service support (owned by Siemens Healthineers).
Market development & go‑to‑market strategy
- Seed market for ddMRI and position ddMRI as new imaging modality in dentistry
- Educate on ddMRI in dentistry emphasizing its clinical contribution and value-add, the opportunity for high-impact research, as well as the expected business impact
- Create awareness on the world’s first ddMRI product MAGNETOM Free.Max Dental Edition
- Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with faculty leaders, institute directors, principal investigators, deans, CIOs/CTOs, and technical stakeholders.
- Support co‑innovation programs, grant applications, consortium initiatives, and academic research collaborations.
Innovation leadership
- Leverage ddMRI to shape Dentsply Sirona’s image as innovation leader
- Leverage ddMRI as door opener for the broader DS portfolio
- Act as a trusted advisor for digital transformation in research and education.
- Work closely with internal teams (Product, R&D, Technical Sales, Engineering, Marketing) to shape academic-relevant solution packages.
- Translate future academic requirements into actionable feedback for product development.
Your Profile:
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Science or similar field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with technical sales, strategic partnerships or business development — ideally within universities, research institutions, or healthcare/engineering environments.
- Profound understanding of digital engineering, imaging, diagnostics, or simulation technologies with ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, strategic, and compelling way.
- Exceptional communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong closing ability in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- High self‑motivation, strategic thinking, and comfort engaging senior academic leaders.
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders (internal and external) cross functionally across multiple time zones
- Strong professional in Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, Power, Point, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- Ability to work across global teams across multiple geographies, cultures and time zones
- Fluent in English (reading, writing and comprehension), additional languages considered a plus
- Ability to travel domestic and international, up to 25%
