Manager Production Planning and Tactical Procurement (f/m/d)

Tasks:

• Oversee and manage production planning activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes and material availabity.
• Develop and implement production schedules in alignment with S&OP Planning and inventory targets.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess stock.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Global Procurement) to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
• Lead tactical procurement strategies, ensuring the timely acquisition of raw materials and supplies.
• Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure product quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery for locally managed suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Manage and resolve any supply chain disruptions or bottlenecks in the production process.

Qualificationen:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, production scheduling, and procurement strategies.
• High level of professional and technical leadership skills (incl. Team Leadership Experience)
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage data-driven decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
