For Zhermack, our manufacturing site in Badia Polesine, we are looking for a:

 

Packaging Engineer

 

The person will manage packaging and labeling activities, supporting production and contributing to continuous improvement in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Creation and management of label layouts/coding (new products and changes in SAP)
  • Updating Work Instructions and supporting production departments
  • Coordination of Coding Resistance Validations (packaging, consumables, systems)
  • Management of Change Plans and IQ/OQ/PQ validations
  • Machinability testing (printers, feeders, labels)
  • Support for continuous improvement projects (packaging & supply chain)
  • Quality and compliance activities: packaging specs, UDI, CAPA, export, SmartSolve
  • Transport validation according to ASTM standards

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in industrial packaging and labeling is preferred
  • Good knowledge of English (B1)
  • Knowledge of validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ), UDI, export compliance
  • Familiarity with SAP and document management systems; knowledge of ASTM standards
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (SAP is a plus)
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Precision, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environments
