For our production site in Badia Polesine rwe are looking for an:

 

HSE Specialist

 

The position, reporting directly to the HSE Manager, will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Based on the annual Health and Safety at Work inspection plan, ensures the execution of inspections to maintain the safety conditions of plants, equipment, and workplaces across all company areas, guaranteeing timely and effective interventions.
  • Is responsible for corporate compliance with the PED directive.
  • Is responsible for organizing safety training for company personnel, managing both onboarding for new hires and refresher training for current employees.
  • Is responsible for compiling accident and near‑miss investigations, identifying appropriate corrective actions. Keeps the database updated for calculating accident, near‑miss, and severity indices.
  • Manages documentation related to Article 26 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and promotes coordination and cooperation with external contractors.
  • Maintains relations with the Occupational Health Physician and collaborates in planning and conducting workplace inspections and subsequently updating the Health Protocol when necessary.
  • Collaborates with the team in managing the Safety Management System and renewing certifications such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Promotes awareness campaigns for personnel on HSE matters.
  • Provides active support to various operational departments in drafting safety procedures.
  • Supports the drafting, management, and updating of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR).
  • Promotes, organizes, and conducts training and/or information sessions for personnel.
  • Constantly verifies compliance with HSE regulations for all activities carried out within the plant.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

  • University or postgraduate education related to health and safety.
  • Fluent knowledge of Italian.
  • Fluent/upper‑intermediate (B2) level of English.
  • Good/excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to self‑organize and manage projects (time planning, milestones).
  • Previous experience in industrial companies is appreciated but not strictly required.
